Since 1997, the NCADD-SD affiliate, often in conjunction with other service providers, has sponsored an annual one-day or half-day conference in the Spring, bringing speakers, workshop presenters and training specialists of national and international renown in the AOD field to San Diego.  These conferences offer an opportunity for professionals, people in recovery, leaders in community health care and others interested to learn and to network with each other, often sharing information which leads to advancement of new policies and programs.
