At the very heart of William Glasser's Choice Theory is the idea that
the only person we can really control is ourselves. If we think we can control others we are moving in the direction
of frustration. If we think others can control us (& so are to blame for all that goes on in my life) we tend to
do nothing & again head for frustration. Jim Mannis will bring us up-to-date on the applications of Glasser's philosophy
in addiction counseling.
