Touching The Lives of Millions

The National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, is a non-profit organization with headquarters in New York City and affiliates in cities throughout the country.  Founded in 1944 by Mrs. Marty Mann, its mission is to "fight the stigma and the disease of alcoholism and other drug addictions".   NCADD operates nationally and through its network of local affiliates to provide assistance to chemically dependent individuals, their families, government policy makers, the media, the medical community, educators and national health organizations.
